At first I was a little leary considering the comments about reception; I live in an apartment in a rather densely populated area of San Diego. But I had no trouble getting a consistent signal. The headset is very comfortable - too sometimes; I've fallen asleep w/ them on. And although it's a refurbish, it looks like brand new.
