Sony MDR-RF960RK 900 MHz RF Wireless Headphones with Auto Tuning

Really like headphones, sound quality good.Very comfotable to wear, light
weight. Great to use when don't want to disturb others late at night.
Only real draw back is once that are pluged in speakers on tv mute. So
not a good product for more than one person to use at one time. GREAT for
only one person watching TV. Like that you don't have to remove them to
go in other rooms, clear signal through out the house. Glad I purchased.Buy Sony MDR-RF960RK 900 MHz RF Wireless Headphones with Auto Tuning!

Pioneer SE-DIR800C Wireless Headphones with Dolby Headphone Technology

I use these in a 17' x 17' living / TV room with one open wall. White walls and ceiling all around. I sit 12-13 feet from the transmitter, move around the room occasionally and have no issues with range or dropouts. I got them mostly for late night viewing when the wife is asleep.

Very comfortable; can wear them for hours without ear pain/fatigue and scarely know they are on. Outstanding surround sound quality. To me, they seem the equivalent of good speakers with exceptional bass response. While I have a 5.1 speaker system, these obviate the need for it. With these, there is no need to balance speakers and sit in the 'sweet spot'. They are the sonic equivalent of a movie theater.

No more arguing over volume issues. Extra headsets can be had and used to accommodate multiple listeners with separate volume preferences. With multiple headsets these might prove a good solution for home theater applications / apartment living without having to resort to expensive sound proofing (or even buying expensive speakers -- or 'ugly black boxes'). An inexpensive receiver, or any source for that matter with Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro Pogic II, would suffice.

Truly, these exceeded my expecations.

Additional Headphone for RS120 Wireless Headphone System

A wonderful product for me. Being hard of hearing (nearly totally deaf in one ear) I have tried several devices to enhance TV watching. These headphones are the perfect item for me. I can use them while my wife can use the speakers at a sound level she is comfortable with. The headphones are comfortable for long periods of time and I can still easily shut them off during commercials. I can tune them in with ease and the sound quality for me is great. I can actually hear in my "bad ear" with these. I don't have to have the volume up very loud to hear clearly and I can move to any location in my house and garage and still hear well. It's a relief for me as well as my wife to not have to keep asking "what did they say?" to keep track of the show I am watching. That's all I use them for and I love them. My lovely wife is happy to no longer having the TV blaring. I highly recommend them for the hard of hearing set for TV watching. Buy Additional Headphone for RS120 Wireless Headphone System!

Sony MDR-RF925RK 900 MHz Analog RF Wireless Headphone

These Sony headphones are my fourth try with wireless headphones, and these Sonys are the best so far. My first wireless headphones were IR based (infrared), which left me totally underwhelmed in terms of sound quality and line-of-sight range. My next phones were Sony's older 900Mhz RF model, which I used regularly for at least three years until last week. These new RF925RK headsets are like awesome compared to the older Sony set. There is little or no background noise (dead quiet), and the ear pads are larger so they completely cover the ears. In fact, the inner ear pads are ergonomically profiled to fit over the ear (asymmetrical - left and right are different). The new Sony uses an induction charging base, which sure beats the heck out of the previous method of lining up those tiny contact pins -- always a hassle. Sound fidelity is not my principal concern, as I am not an audiophile, but clarity and richness is appreciated. These Sony phones sound terrific! Oh, one other thing. I can't stress enough how important it is that Sony wireless Rf phones turn themselves off automatically when you removed them from your head. Also, the Sony rechargable AAA batteries can be replaced with regular Alkaline AAAs in a in case you forget to charge-up these phones. Buy Sony MDR-RF925RK 900 MHz Analog RF Wireless Headphone!

Sennheiser 810 Personal Infrared TV Listening System

The Sennheiser 810 listening system works well but was troublesome to set up. Connecting it to the output jack on my TV would provide sound to the headset but not from the speakers so others in the room would hear nothing. Using the included microphone resulted in a pickup of many extraneous noises until the Sennheiser tech advised that the mike must be placed right on the throat of the speaker. Problem solved but only after some puzzlement and phone calls. Could be easier.Buy Sennheiser 810 Personal Infrared TV Listening System!

Add-on Headphone for RS-130 Wireless System

I bought a pair of these headphones for my husband a few years ago and he loved them so much, I decided to buy a pair for myself. Now I can't do without them. We both wear them at night when we want to listen to different TV programming. Now I don't have to listen to the military channel and he doesn't have to listen to my detective shows. The quality of these headphones is great. We can be lying right next to each other and not experience interference from the other person's programming. Bebe Sounds TV-777 TV Listener

Audiophiles will not be happy with this product, but it's a perfect low-cost wireless headphone solution. I bought it for my son's computer. He destroyed a couple of different sets of wired headphones by wrapping the cord around his chair. So, I decided to try an inexpensive set of wireless headphone. Unfortunately, most wireless headphones tend to be more expensive than I would want to pay for this application. I decided to gamble on the low-cost Bebe system. These headphones work well. There is a pronounced high-frequency hiss, but I don't find it bothersome. In fact, people with high-frequency hearing loss might not be bothered at all. They work quite nicely from across the room. Setup could NOT have been easier. 1. Put two AAA batteries in headphone. 2. Plug in the transmitter with the included power supply. 3. Plug mini-plug into your audio device. There is a volume control on the headphones, along with an on/off switch. What are the negatives to this product? 1. The battery cover on the headphones is not very tight. It won't come off during normal usage, but it does not fit as tightly as other battery covers. 2. I anticipate using lots of batteries as my son will forget to turn the headphones off after use. 3. Finally, the aforementioned hiss. Overall, this will work well for general uses around the house. We'll probably get an extra pair of headphones so that we can use this on family trips in conjunction with the DVD player. Perfect for television. However, I would NOT use these to listen to music on a regular basis.

Sylvania SYL-WH930GB Wireless Headphones (Black)

I bought this wireless headphone so I could watch late night TV without disturbing the rest of the family. It works pretty well, and was not very expensive. The only drawbacks: the little "pod" that comes with it requires a battery and you have to manually turn it on (just a little inconvenient when you're already in bed); you also have to "scan" for reception each time you use it. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.Buy Sylvania SYL-WH930GB Wireless Headphones (Black)!

Sony MDRRF970RK 900 MHz Analog RF Wireless Headphone

These headphones are pretty good when they work, both quality and range. But unless you use them daily, you absolutely cannot rely on the rechargeable battery. If you use the headphones at exactly the moment a recharge is complete, it will work fine. But if you have not used them for several days, but left the headphones in the cradle (supposedly to recharge as needed), they will NOT continuously recharge. In fact, they will almost always be dead. Not a very good design. I have many Sony devices with rechargeable batteries that never lose a charge until the battery gets old (my wireless phone and my rechargeable universal remote control). But this Sony item seems to have missed that design session. Avoid these like the plague.Buy Sony MDRRF970RK 900 MHz Analog RF Wireless Headphone!
