To be honest, I know nothing about headphones and only purchased this set by comparing reviews and prices. I am extremely happy with my choice. Very easy to set up, great price especially compared to buying in-store, they fit very comfortably and the sound is perfect, tiny bit of white noise in the background but I'm only conscious of that due to reading reviews of other brands, otherwise I probably wouldn't have even noticed it. I've been all around our house and in the basement and the sound is still great. Have not been outside to test them yet. So far I've only tried them with the TV.
