Purchased these for our 18 year old son to use in his college dorm next year. Of course the first thing he had to do was see how far he could go before the sound was compromised too much. He went over 2 blocks from the house which meant one block down a slight hill and then around a corner for another block plus before the reception wasn't good enough for him.
